During your stay at Bastide O’nhora you can explore the riches of Provence and Côte d'Azur.  The coast is located a 20 minute drive from the gîtes and some of the prettiest villages in Provence less than 30 minutes from the gîtes.

Discover Grasse, the centre of the perfume industry and a town of art and history.  Some of the perfume manufacturers are open to the public  (Fragonard, Molinard, Galimard to name a few).  You can also discover the historic centre on foot and admire the riches of this medieval town. 

To visit in Grasse : the international perfume museum, villa-museum Fragonnard, museum of art and history of Provence.  

On the French Riviera (Côte d’Azur), a few kilometres from your gîte, the most famous coastal towns : Cannes, Nice and Antibes.

They all boast fabulous sandy beaches and coastal paths for some lovely walks.  Don't miss a trip to La Croisette in Cannes, the mythical promenade made famous by the Cannes Film Festival.

Each of these wonderful sites on the Côte d’Azur is basked in sun most of the year and boasts pretty backstreets, museums and a rich heritage.

Also worth a visit, two timeless islands, Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat located in the bay of Cannes.  The tranquillity and peace that reigns on these islands can be felt as soon as you arrive.  The fauna and flora is unique and intact.

Throughout the year numerous festivals are organised on the Côte d’Azur.

Admire the stunning view over the Côte d'Azur and Mediterranean from the top of the ramparts of this fortified village.

BIOT, city of glassmaking

The village is home to numerous talented creators. Thre are six glassmakers and thirty creative professions located in the historic centre. 

GOURDON, an outstanding panoramic view

The village, a medieval fortress, boasts a stunning view over the "Vallée du Loup".  A breathtaking view over 80 km of coastline.

TOURRETTES-SUR-LOUP, the « City of violets »

The culture of violets is still one of the main activities in Gourdon. Creators and artists flock to the village centre.
